WRITING

I enjoy writing prose, and I believe it to be a skill that more people should develop. Certainly words encounter difficulty when faced with explaining music, but that struggle will occasionally lead to greater understanding.

Eventually I would like to compile my strongest music essays in a book. However, my current emphasis on performing limits my time for substantial written discourse.

My previous work is quite varied: music essays on traditional topics, musings on modern music ideals, concert reviews, book reviews, non-music essays, video game reviews, anime reviews and a music dissertation. In due course I hope to also write a science fiction novel.
