My eternal war against recordings continues in what may be its most surprising form. What better way is there to bolster my arguments than to go through the process of creating that which I despise? In truth, making a recording has strengthened my resolve and conviction that they are the bane of all musicians.

The Isolation Cantos will be released in several parts. The first, entitled Exordium, contains recordings of Bach, Beethoven, Scriabin and Liszt made at the Glenn Gould Studio in the CBC headquarters in Toronto, Canada.
